It is said that pain has a way of changing us depending on how long the pain lasted. It can shake our peace of mind,break our confidence and also leave us wondering why some certain things happened in our life. But it can also become the thing that give our life a great meaning.
Turning pain into purpose also mean not allowing our past experiences define who we are in a negative way. It means choosing to grow through what tried to break us and destroy us. The rejection, losses and disappointment we face can the source of strength, wisdom and compassion.
Most times the people who inspire and encourage other are those who have survived the ugly seasons. They speak with more understanding because they have lived through pain and struggle. They've help people to heal because they know what pain feels like.
Most people pains may have introduce them to a strong version of themselves. It may have taught them resilience, faith and patience. What we think might be the end of the story may be the beginning of new chapter.
What pain or hurt you does not have the power to stop you, it can recreate you, build you and prepare you to encourage and assist someone else.
